Liquor license: If you already own a business in Florida and want to begin selling alcohol, or you are planning to open a new business that will serve alcohol, you need a liquor license.  

Employer Identification Number : Most business are required to obtain a federal employer identification number. 

Sales Tax Licenses and Numbers: Consider the tax landscape for the state, county, and city. Income tax, sales tax, property tax, and corporate taxes can vary significantly from place to place.

Fire Department Permit: You may need to get a permit from your fire department if your business uses any flammable materials or if your premises will be open to the public.  

Sign Permits:  Some cities and suburbs have sign ordinances that restrict the size, location and sometimes the lighting and type of sign you can use outside your business
